meeting kenchan and rin: he met rin in a chatroom online, she was trying to lure in an older man to fulfil her lolita type fantasy. he was oblivious to this, and to social norms, and just saw her as an online friend. he mostly stayed talking to her because her brother sounded really interesting, and he wanted to meet someone into the occult irl. she used this to convince him to come over for sex. (he really saw no problem with this.) when he got there, being his hyperactive loud and dense self, she was immediately put off. her brother (kensuke) came to see what was happening, and occhi blabbed the whole online chatroom ''i've heard so much about you!'' to him. when kensuke finally got him to leave, he had a stern talking to rin, who immediately fell in love with him instead (he was unaware at that moment, but also had feelings for her). occhi thought it went SO GOOD and kept asking to come back. occhi, willing to actually listen to kensuke blab about the occult and serial killers and ghosts, found his first...friend? they talked online everyday after that.

currently: living with kensuke, pretty much doing what he did before, but he's romantically loyal to kensuke. kenchan is also possessive so this works out. i need to come up with a name for the media to call their serial murders. they move around a lot to avoid suspicion, and for kensuke to ghost hunt.
